About the job:

Work as a software developer on a team that is focused on Cyber analytic development and visualization. Candidates will be responsible for performing development, integration, test and documentation duties to ensure proper operation of hardware and software platforms. They will integrate a wide variety of applications from various sources, integrate and ensure they meet performance standards for stability and resource utilization. And they will develop software as necessary to integrate between components, perform new capabilities, facilitate testing, etc.


  • Software Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience supporting development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements
  • Development skills in Java using the Spring framework
  • Deep understanding of Linux (RedHat and CentOS)
  • Practical experience utilizing MongoDB and Cloud technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Accumulo, MapReduce, Cloudbase) for real-time processing of large data sets
  • Knowledge of streaming technologies including InfoSphere Streams and Storm
  • Knowledge of networking; familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP
  • Experience working in Agile engineering environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Clearance:  Applicants must be U.S. Citizens possessing an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Additional Desired Experience:

  • Programming skills in JavaScript including Groovy, D3, BackBoneJS, UnderscoreJS, Jquery, JUnit and RequireJS
  • Familiarity with code development, test, and configuration management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Wiki’s, and Confluence
  • Domain modeling experience
  • Advanced knowledge of end to end data flows
