Effective Border Management Through Collaboration
Since September 11, 2001, many federal agencies, including the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) have been charged with improving inter- and intradepartmental communication to counter threats to homeland security and are required to involve state and local governments and the private sector.
