COLLABRASPACE APPOINTS VP OF SALES

Firm attracts veteran executive to lead sales team

Annapolis, MD — Aug 23, 2006 — CollabraSpace® , a leading provider of web-based collaboration solutions for government and commercial enterprises, today announced the appointment of Donald Beery to the newly-created position of vice president of sales. In this position, Beery will provide CollabraSpace with sales and marketing expertise in support of the company’s CollabraSuite® real-time collaboration products and support services.

Beery will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and sustaining existing customer renewals. Beery will also coordinate business development efforts and channel relationships. As the company’s sales leader, Beery will facilitate the development and implementation of the company’s cohesive strategic vision and ensure that the proper tactics are executed against the plan. He will report to CollabraSpace president and CEO, Ray Schwemmer.

For more than two decades in the IT industry, Beery has been developing relationships with technology providers and customers in the public sector and commercial markets alike. Beery comes to CollabraSpace from California-based Cranite Systems, a top developer of secure mobile networking solutions targeted towards risk-conscious customers. There he led worldwide sales and business development and grew Cranite’s business by more than 500 percent. Prior to his work at Cranite, he owned his own consulting firm, B2Gov, where he introduced small and mid-sized businesses to the government market and has held executive sales and general management positions with companies such as RealNetworks, Beyond.com, EDS and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
