Larry C. Kindsvater
Larry C. Kindsvater has a combined total of 39 years in United States intelligence; 34 years as a CIA officer and 5 years as a consultant on intelligence issues. Larry has extensive experience in the operational and bureaucratic interplay among US intelligence agencies and the leadership of the intelligence community. As well as the strategic policy, programmatic, and budgetary processes between US intelligence, the Department of Defense, the White House, and the Congress. Presently, Larry is the President/CEO of Kindsvater Consulting, providing strategic advice to the private sector supporting the needs of US intelligence.
Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Susquehanna University and Master of Arts in Economics from Bowling Green State University. Larry has been featured in several publications including: Intelligence Integration: Impossible Under the Present System, Building Strategic Concepts for the Intelligence Enterprise, published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in 2009 and The Need to Reorganize the Intelligence Community, Studies in Intelligence (Volume 47, Number 1, 2003), published by the Central Intelligence Agency.
Larry and his wife live in Falls Church, Virginia. His interests include walking, motorcycling, bicycling, music, reading, and any activity that provides insights on the way things work.
