  • 14+ years’ experience as a Systems Engineer of direct experience and with at least five years with the intelligence community.
  • Must be result-oriented, self motivated, effective communicator, and independently productive
  • Must be experienced in full system life cycle from concept development through testing, development, and sustainment. Provide project support for both short-term goals and long-term strategies
  • Have current experience with broad range of customer collection, processing, distribution and storage systems as well as data management
  • Have recent experience on large-scale (Tier 1/Tier 2) Government programs
  • Proven ability to present briefings/training material
  • Demonstrated ability to convey new techniques and technologies to workforce and facilitate transference of acquired knowledge from more experienced engineers
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have experience in agile software development methodologies and practices
  • Clearance:  Applicants must be U.S. Citizens possessing an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.

Additional Desired Experience:

  • Work closely with Product Owner, stakeholders, Development Team, Government management and contractor management to plan, execute, and monitor team’s work and effectiveness
  • Liaison with Customer, users and external teams to coordinate requirements, schedule, testing, validation, documentation, security and development activities
  • Derive system level requirements based upon stakeholder needs
  • Define and evaluate system architectures to drive implementation to ensure stakeholder concerns and requirements are met
  • Author technical documentation and training plans consistent with the delivery of software products for testing or deployment for operational mission purposes
  • Perform technical risk assessment, analysis and sound engineering mitigation strategies
  • Create engineering documentation (ICD, block diagrams, architecture diagrams, risk assessments, technical briefs, and other analysis and design artifacts)
  • Conduct technical exchanges to accomplish goals to include coordinating and participating in design and technical review meetings
  • Develop technical plans to guide capability development and report status of capability development activities
  • Assist the Development Team with software implementation, verification, integration and validation activities
